Adam Starr grew
up in Washington state where he became involved in the Seattle
grunge movement at an early age. In the summer of 1995, he
discovered the rave culture, and hasn't looked back since.
Within a year, he and a friend started their own production company
- Alien Farm Productions. They also produced their first
live show - Groovaphalia. Unlike most others in the
electronic music industry, Adam has never been a DJ. He
began producing electronic music and quickly found his talent in
composing live before an audience. His performances have been met
with great enthusiasm. He can work a crowd better than any DJ, and
he has been refining his skills, performing at raves, ever since.
He began work on his first CD
in 1998 and completed Ratio (then titled Blue) in May
of 1999. He pressed a limited number of CD's to meet the demands of
his growing fanbase, and distributed them himself. His CD met with
a great response and quickly sold out of stores. It has been
#1 on X-Radio, the biggest online electronic music
store. Several tracks have topped various genre charts on mp3.com.
Radio play has been popular in Germany, Australia, Mexico, Canada
and the U.S.
