Gold! by Elektrochemie LK was one of the biggest German techno albums of 2001, reaching the Top 50 on the German Album Sales Chart. Produced by Thomas Schumacher, aka Elektrochemie LK, it features hard electronic sounds mixed with elements of rap, techno and rock for a unique combination that is sure to leave you grooving.

Gold! features the singles Schall, which was a huge international club smash, reaching the Top 10 in Germany, and When I Rock, another hit single which reached the Top 20. Two mixes of each are included as well as the videos.

Elektrochemie LK won the award for National Vinyl Sales Hit Of The Year at the 2001 German Dance Awards for Schall. He also took home the award for Best Techno Producer Of The Year at the Austrian Techno Awards.

Thomas Schumacher has been DJing since the age of 13 and producing tracks since he was 16. Recording as the NIP Collective, he scored an early hit with Advanced Structure EP. Several lesser singles followed which didn't do much saleswise but led to DJ gigs across Europe and the UK for this talented young DJ/producer. Elektrochemie LK has been his biggest project to date.
